At a meeting Monika asked if there was a need for fingerless gloves for patients receiving chemotherapy. Certain chemo drugs can cause an extreme sensitivity to cold. Cathy M. discussed this with the nurses in the Oncology unit at Kaiser South Bay (Harbor City) and you will be pleased to know that they would be absolutely delighted to have some to give to their patients. If you are interested in participating please use a soft, machine washable yarn and bring your contributions to one of our meetings.
