Knitters and crocheters love to share ideas, knowledge and great places to buy yarn!
Local Yarn Stores our members like:
Twist - Yarns of Intrigue (closed temporarily)
Artisan Space (formerly Needlepoints West)

Slipt Stitching Stars
We are very fortunate to have several members who are shining stars in the knitting/crochet universe! They are teachers, designers, authors and entrepreneurs.
Most attend meetings regularly so you
come hang with them and be sure to check out their websites. You can find more information about them here.
A local Junior Girl Scout troop is learning to knit and in their web searching they found our LINKS page and were able to learn some useful tips from some of our links. They wanted to share a website that they found with knitting information they found helpful. It's not really a knitting website but someone's blog with a few paragraphs of knitting tips and links to even more information that the Girl Scout troop found useful so they wanted to share it with us as thanks for what they had learned from our website. Click here to find the website. It is a useful site for beginning knitters and might even be a good refresher for our more experienced knitters.
Hope you enjoy it--thanks to the Girl Scouts for sharing it with us.
